Our company maintains a database with the registration of its customers, which are automatically collected and processed. The collection of user identification data can be carried out via the Internet (on the website itself), by telephone or through forms and will be processed, under the terms approved by the National Data Protection Commission of Portugal. Our company is equipped with techincal infrastructures for peripheral control, namely network firewalls, private circuits and VPNs that respect security requirements. The computer servers are housed in a datacentre operator which performs a digital information protection service on the hosted servers. The service includes file backup, conservation according to the defined policy and restoration on request.
For customer safety, we use the SSL – Secure Socket Layer security certificate, which is used to improve the security of data transmission over the Internet: this technology encrypts and protects data transmitted using the HTTPS protocol. SSL guarantees website visitors that the data provided will not be fraudulently intercepted. For security reasons applicable to certain countries, it is mandatory to include information regarding data such as name, passport number, gender, age and nationality in flight reservations. This information contained in the reservation may be consulted by the customs authorities of the countries of origin or destination.
